Overview:

The LEISURE 23SL designed by Frank Pryor is a surprising pocket cruiser with amazing space internally for a vessel of this size. For a family just starting out cruising, she is ideal because she is easy to handle and has good deck space to move around. The deep cockpit provides excellent security for sail handling and an enthusiastic young crew. This is an outboard version and her 6hp (virtually new) engine provides ample power to control the yacht. A very clean and tidy example and very sensibly priced. Tidal mooring available at Newhaven.

Simple 2 cabin layout with: FOREPEAK CABIN with two 'V' berths and stowage beneath. Jabsco sea toilet to starboard with enclosure and hanging locker to port. MAIN SALOON has a dinette double berth to starboard with ample seating for dining and storage lockering under. The GALLEY is to port with stainless steel sink unit and manual pump cold tap. Single burner Gaz cooker. Good stowage for cooking utensils, etc.. A quarter berth is provided under the port side deck and the central companion way takes you to the COCKPIT area. Sail handing is easily managed from the deep cockpit provides excellent security for the crew. A large cockpit locker under the starboard seat bench gives ample space for deck/wet gear, etc.. Fabrics and furnishings/linings appear in good order for a vessel of tis age. Gas appliances: All gas equipment should be regularly checked, serviced and certified safe by a competent inspector.

TOHATSU 4 Stroke Outboard Motor - transom mounted on a bracket controlled from the cockpit. A petrol mtank is mounted in the stern locker. The engine has only operated for very few hours having been purchased in 2018 from a local stockist. Note: This vessel has provison for an inboard diesel engine mounted under the cockpit deck and access behind the companionway steps. A relatively small diesel of approx. 10hp would be sufficient to power this vessel.
