The standard of this build in exemplary and a testimonial to true craftsmanship in keeping with the marque over a 50 year production period. Lochin has always been synonymous with performance in rough conditions and the Lochin 40 has proven to be a favoured design for commercial operators the world over. 'Sorcerer 11' is fully MCA 'Coded' to Cat. 2 (10+2) and recently completed her mid-term inspection by MECAL. She is also registered RCD Cat. B (retrospectively) for leisure use. She has been lightly used, meticulously maintained and has a vast inventory of carefully selected equipment and electronics. FORECABIN with two tiered berths (S) with short seat (P) and upper lockers for storage. Hatch to deck for emergency exit & ventilation. Storage under bunks both sides and access to the anchor locker forward. HEADS / SHOWER compartment (P) with electric sea toilet, wash/hand basin & shower facility served by pressurised H&C. Companionway steps to: WHEELHOUSE with helm console (S) housing engine instrumentation, controls and electronic displays in close proximity to the helm suspension seat. The navigation area (P) has a bench seat for 2/3 persons with chart space. 'U' shaped settee / dinette with drop down / removeable table converting to a double berth. with storage under. Opposite (S) is the GALLEY area with built in 24v microwave cooker, electric ceramic hob unit and stainless steel sink with H/C taps. Refrigerator is located under the helm seat area. Ample storage for cooking utensils and equipment. Central door to COCKPIT with large open deck area, lockers and engine vents (P&S), hinged side access doors (P&S) and sealed cockpit deck draining through stern scuppers. Engines are access via flush hatches within the deck ands after tiller flat hatch. An additional stainless steel framed canopy has been added to provide shelter against the rear wheelhouse bulkhead for use in rough weather. A bait table / storage frame is central to the deck but removeable. The cockpit area has stainless rails to regulation height and a swimming ladder is fitted to the transom.
