Overview:

REDUCED TO SELL: Island Plastics were well known in the 1970's &1980's and many commercial and leisure fishing style boats were made in this period from their yard in Cowes, Isle of Wight. The simulated 'clinker' hull form was developed from the famous beach launched fishing boats used extensively along the south and east coasts in the UK and more familiarly seen in the well know Mitchell 23 which this vessel is similar in many ways. Sturdy lines, a comparatively wide beam and deep cockpit provide a stable platform and can easily accommodate 4 anglers. 'Teal' is presented well and eagerly awaits her new owner.

The layout provides a CUDDY CABIN forward mainly for storage of fishing gear and equipment. A Jabsco sea toilet is mounted to port and a small galley area to starboard which has a single burner camping stove. The radio receiver and VHF are also mounted in this unit. The WHEELHOUSE has the helm to port with helm seat, engine instruments and electronics, etc., mounted and to starboard is a small seating area. Two sliding doors enclose the cabin cleverly providing an uninterrupted passage to and from the COCKPIT which is the main feature of this boat. Seating is available P&S and across the transom and the central engine box can also be used although the owners have made a useful 'chopping board' accessory that sits atop the box. A stainless steel gantry houses the antenna and VHF /GPS aerials and there are the usual deck fittings for mooring, etc..
